||||||||||
In 1967 rumours of a new formula for the stock cars was going around drivers and spectators, also a change of a name for the formula 2's to "superstox" at the end of the 1968 season. These new or maybe old type stockcars ie ironed up saloon cars "as they were in the beginning" the new cars brought about many new drivers along with many of the formula2 drivers who changed to the new formula. The cost of formula2 racing being the major factor for change, among these were #210 Eddie James (Formula 2 champion in 1964-65) also long time driver and former british champion #70 Aubrey Foxy Dance. |
